There’s nothing better than realizing just how much we can accomplish when we work together. I love helping cultivate those experiences for good.

For more than 15 years, I’ve been building communities around big ideas and solving complex problems by innovating how we work together while rallying around causes, places, and brands for good. I’ve learned to foster connections through shared values, celebrate the big and little wins, and pause to reflect on what we’ve learned along the way.

I got my start in community building at nine years old, leading a youth guild raising funds for Seattle Children’s. From those early days of raffle ticket and program sales, I’ve gone on to develop e-commerce strategies, incorporate digital experiences for IRL (in real life) successes, launch national brand standards locally, explore new ways to fundraise, rally people to create incredible community spaces, calm the chaos during crises (labor, legal, and operational), and connect employees to something bigger than a paycheck.

My recipe for success is a mix of creativity, tenacity, and a big scoop of kindness stirred up in a team until everything is authentically combined. Top with a dash of humor and serve with a smile.

I like to think my superpowers involve recognizing and empowering the talents of those around me to accomplish more than we could do alone, while keeping up the fun along the way.

I’m a believer in constructive debate, honesty, curiosity, and transparency at all levels. I lean in to help solve problems and remove roadblocks early and often. I value people’s well-being over self-imposed deadlines. And when achieving results means we can celebrate in silly, fun, goofy ways that put a smile on people’s faces and allow us to connect with one another, I do everything in my power to ensure my team is set up to succeed.
